College Career at Kentucky
Adebayo attended High Point Christian Academy, where he became one of the top high school basketball prospects in the United States. His talent earned him a scholarship to the University of Kentucky, one of the most famous college basketball programs in the country.
During his single season at Kentucky in 2016–2017, Bam showed flashes of the player he would become. He averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds per game, demonstrating strong inside scoring and rebounding ability.
Although he only spent one year in college, his performances convinced NBA scouts that he had enormous potential. His defensive ability, physical strength, and work ethic made him an exciting prospect.
NBA Draft and Arrival in Miami
